This project involved removing old, deteriorating railroad tie steps and replacing them with durable natural slate steps. The original railroad ties had become weathered over time, creating both safety concerns and an outdated appearance. After carefully removing the existing materials, we prepared a solid foundation to ensure long-lasting stability and proper drainage.

The new slate steps provide a clean, attractive look that enhances the overall landscape while offering improved safety and durability. Natural slate complements a variety of outdoor settings and requires less maintenance than traditional railroad ties. The finished staircase blends seamlessly with the surrounding property, creating a welcoming and functional pathway that will withstand years of use and changing weather conditions.
